The main purpose of our program is to provide academic guidance and high-quality training to selected low-income students from grades XI and XII at JNV schools in various districts
Avanti selects schools via a selection process that takes into consideration the average performance of the school and the economic background of the students. Thereby, training these talented high school students from low income communities and helping them gain entry to and succeed at undergraduate colleges. We train the students to learn mathematics and science completely different from the traditional methods. We are currently working with a total of 860 students and 14 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across multiple districts in Pondicherry, Karnataka, Orissa and Maharashtra. Our students are typically high achieving students from JNV schools with a high aptitude for math and science.
